KUTUKA MOTORSPORT HIRE CAR PACKAGE.
Available in a range of support packages, Kutuka motorsport are proud to introduce "Megan" the team's third car from 2008.
Offered either as a stand-alone car hire package, or delivered to the track, or even as an arrive-and-drive we can cater to you for anything from a single race to a full season.
THE CAR
A class-D spec 4 litre, fully compliant with the JEC XJS series regulations, Powered by Jaguar or the Future Classics series. We want this car to finish well when you take it out, and when it isn't being hired out one of our own drivers is using it, so this is not a lame old track hack held together with a wish and a prayer, it is a competitive car, so don't get palmed off with any rubbish, wheether you're a novice looking at trying out the JEC series, a driver from another series wondering how the other half live or you're an XJS driver on an off year needing a mid-season fix, give us a call.
WHAT DO I GET?
Well, it depends what you want. The more you want, the more it costs. It's not rocket science, that's just how it is. But whether you want to transport the car yourself or you want to turn up ten minutes before scrutineering with a car ready to go, you can expect our help. We'll not abandon you in a corner of the paddock and leave you to flounder, you'll be part of the Kutuka encampment on circuit, and we'll take care of you. So if you're a novice driver you'll not get lost on the way to scrutineering or assembly, and you'll not flail about blindly wondering what to do between qualifying and the race, we'll be on hand to help, you're only on your own when you hit the track. If you're a returning driver we'll not patronise you and hold your hand any more than you want, but our facilities and unwanted opinions will be there for you.
Of course, if you want to hide far away across the paddock that's fine, but we will take it personally and cry ourselves to sleep. And you'll be missing a cracking barbeque and a few war stories that'll make your hair stand on end.
About the only thing we can't offer you is a place to sleep. The only stipulation we have is that you work out where you're going to lay your head, because nice as we all are you're not having our beds.*

DEALS:
CAR ONLY
What it says on the tin, you get a ready-to-race car. You transport it, insure it, and fuel it yourself, we supply you a prepped racing car but you're responsible for the rest. You will need to insure the car for the period you collect it until it is returned. It is the cheapest option, because it requires the most effort from you.
DELIVERED TO TRACK
As above, but delivered to the circuit. You still need to fuel the car unless you've specified otherwise, but it will probably work out a little cheaper this way than the car-only package as we can offer you a reduced-cost transport deal.
ARRIVE-AND-DRIVE
The full works, turn up, turn the key. Bring only your fireproofs , helmet and licence We'll transport the car to and from the circuit ,do your repairs, within reason, make sure you're fuelled and ready to go, you can literally just get in and drive it. We'll offer you full race support as if you are a Kutuka driver, so you want a suspension change, or to pull into the pitlane mid-way through quali for your tyre pressures altered, it's all there for you. How much this option costs depends on whether it is a single race or a double-header, and whether you plan to add a test day ahead of the race weekend.
INSURANCE
For all the hire options above the car will need to be insured but don't worry we have a company who will insure the car for an event. As an example £4000.00 of cover for £150.00
CAMERA?
If you want to run a video camera you do have to tell us in advance. We can supply one if necessary.
WHAT IF I BREAK IT?
Well, if you crashed it, you're insured. If you blow the engine into tiny bits, you're not. So what happens? Well, we'll cry and gnash our teeth, but these things happen, we took that risk when we rented the car to you, we're not going to hold it against you, mechanical failures happen in racing. We'll do what we can to get you up and running, we're really quite capable, but if the car is toast then that's the end of the weekend, that's the risk you take like every other racer out there.
What do repairs cost you? Well, nothing. If the brakes wear out we'll tell you that you're braking too much, but we'll put you new pads in. The average XJS can do several meetings without major attention, and you're renting the car from us as if it's ready to do three or four races. So if it goes wrong then we'll fix it, unless it's an exploded gearbox because you put it in second instead of fourth, there are limits what we can achieve.
WHAT IF I BEAT A KUTUKA DRIVER IN KUTUKA'S OWN HIRE CAR?
We'll sulk. Lots. And then buy you a beer.
